THE FARM

We are a family farm located in northern Michigan’s Leelanau County.  Our farm in Cedar emphasizes sustainable agricultural practices as well as a strong connection to the local community.

Cedar Sol has grown a wide variety of fruits and vegetables.  Some years we have grown just strawberries – 20,000 of them! Other years we have grown chards, kales, cucumbers, tomatoes, cilantro, basil, squash, zucchini, broccoli, spinach and peppers galore! Some summers we have only grown cilantro, onion, tomato and greens to feed the taco stand in our roadside market! We use Hydro-Stacker – a USA patented and made vertical growing system.
